Coaching Credentials

Many colleagues engaged in coaching have requested a process to formally recognize their TDIMA coaching knowledge, abilities, skills and experience that would could be included in their professional resume or CV.

Consistent with TDIMA vision to develop new knowledge, research, measure and evaluate coaching activities specific to health care improvement, the creation of Credentials for Coaching will meet individual desires for formal recognition of coaching capabilities while building a TDIMA coaching registry to list those with coaching skills and draw from the credentialing applications to contribute to the body of knowledge of coaching health care improvement.

Once the Coaching e-Portfolio is submitted, The Dartmouth Institute Microsystem Academy will award credentials to the coach based on their level of completion. Review will occur every three years through a web based electronic module and updating of resume/CV.

Benefits of Credentialing

  1. Access to password protected virtual coaching community “Coaches Corner” containing: Threaded coaching conversations, TDIMA preferred coaching registry, case studies and vignettes, reading list and new publications and resources for coaching.
  2. 10% discount to annual “Coaching Retreat & Reunion”
  3. Inclusion in TDIMA preferred coaching registry
